We have had the good fortune of being able to offer our practice
members regular chiropractic care without financial obstacle for more
than a few years now. While others have failed in this type of
practice, we continue to flourish thanks to all of you who honor your
agreement to be regular with your care (no less than 1 visit per
week), handle your financial obligations on the first visit of the
week and, most importantly, refer others. A system such as ours
depends upon a volume of people following the rules so that it may
continue.
This means that if you are utilizing the Cooperative Fee System and
miss a week or more of care, you are still responsible for payment for
those weeks. It is a flat, weekly fee for care, whether you are here
once that week, ten times that week or no times that
week.
We recognize that some may not be interested or willing to fulfill
the three obligations of the Cooperative Fee System. That’s OK. We are
committed to getting care to everyone. For those individuals, our
regular stated fee of $40 per visit, per person applies.
We do not offer the option of having your spine checked at
inconsistent intervals and maintain access to the Cooperative Fee
System. It is also unfair to those individuals and families who do
honor their agreement with us.
Any fee system that creates an obstacle to you and your family
getting your spine checked regularly is a bad fee system. Similarly,
any fee system that does not allow the provider of the service to earn
a living is also a bad fee system.
We will continue offering the Cooperative Fee System as long as
each of you utilizing it continue to honor your agreement. We offer
this for you, not for us. It would be very easy for us to do as other
chiropractors do by charging $40, $50, $60 or more per visit, see
fewer people and have a far greater income. We would rather see more
families at affordable fees so that we can change the world, one spine
at a time. Because, if you’re not out to change the world everything
else is just Mickey Mouse!
