Dr. Sasso is a 1983 magna-cum-laude graduate of Sherman College of
Straight Chiropractic and a member of the Garden State Chiropractic Society.
He has served the GSCS as treasurer of both the general organization and
it's affiliated political action committee, and as vice-president. In 1988
and 1990, he was honored as GSCS "Board Member of the Year" and also
received a GSCS "Distinguished Service Award" in 1989. He shared a
1990 Sherman College "Career Advisor of the Year" Award with Dr.
Messina and was honored as GSCS "Chiropractor of the Year" in 1992.
In 1992, he was also honored as a "Distinguished Alumnus" of Sherman
College.
From 1991-1995, he was president of the Federation of
Straight Chiropractors and Organizations, a national trade association. In
this capacity, he spoke before legislative bodies and travelled extensively
in addressing chiropractic students nationwide. In 1994, he received the
prestigious "TRIUNE Award" from the FSCO for his dedication to the
profession and was honored as "Chiropractor of the Year" by Sherman
College. In 2000, he was elected a Fellow in the College of Straight
Chiropractic.
Dr. Sasso is an accomplished guitarist whose talents include performance,
arranging and recording. He continues to maintain an extensive performing
schedule. He also enjoys being creative in the kitchen.
